  Annelyse DeBellis, MA, LPCC

Annelyse DeBellis is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who completed her professional education at Ashland Theological Seminary in June of 2008 with a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling. Annelyse specializes in trauma treatment and marriage counseling. She enjoys working with adults from all walks of life, with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, relational problems and life adjustment issues. Annelyse is certified in Integrative Based Stressed Reduction (IBSR) and EMDR through the Bodymind Institute. These are both used in the treatment of trauma. She is also a trainer for the Seven Principles That Make Marriage Work. As a counselor, she strives for a seamless integration of faith and clinical skills in order to bring the greatest benefit to each individual client. Annelyse comes to Gentle Shepherd with experience in spiritual formation ministry for over 20 years. She and her husband have successfully coordinated a program called Living Waters since 1999. Its main focus is to invite God’s healing Presence for relational and sexual wholeness. Through this ministry she has lead small groups and trained many leaders and is on the national training team. She has also taught at conferences and seminars. She and her husband currently function as Desert Stream’s regional coordinators for the State of Ohio. Annelyse has been married to Cris since 1980. They have a wonderful son, two delightful daughters, a brilliant and kind son in-law, and an almost daughter in-law that is a great joy.
