Beth Ransom is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory status (LPCC-S), having earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mount Union College and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Her experience includes serving others, and the community as a whole, in a variety of roles within the local non-profit sector.
Beth’s clinical experience encompasses serving individuals, children, teens, families, couples and groups in community mental health, hospice and private practice settings. Beth’s areas of interest include the treatment of individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, personality disorders, PTSD, adjustment issues, grief, trauma and survivors of suicide. Beth particularly enjoys working with blended families and parents of children with special needs. Beth is a trauma informed clinician who is trained in EMDR therapy. She enjoys utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions in her work with individuals including art and music in addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Beth, and her husband Brent, have three children and enjoy being active members of their church and surrounding community. |
