Picture

Tara earned a Master of Science degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Akron in 2014 and she is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).  Her experience includes serving a variety of populations in multiple settings such as community mental health agencies, hospitals, nursing homes and schools.

Tara's areas of interest include assisting individuals with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, and adjustment issues in addition to concerns related to foster care, adoption, attachment, family systems and educational barriers. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, families, women and older adults. Tara's hope is to come alongside individuals, helping them to be resilient and to recognize that each person has a unique purpose in life.

She is active in the community, previously serving on the Stark County Family Council Board and the Trauma and Resiliency Committee. Since 2005, Tara has helped educate others about trauma and ways to reach at-risk youth through motivational/public speaking.

Tara areas of personal interest include mentoring young women, traveling, music, art, nature, spending time with friends, laughing and enjoying life.
