Picture
Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with the state of Ohio.  Jennifer earned her Master of Arts in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University in 2019. Jennifer is trained to diagnose and treat various mental health and emotional concerns. Jennifer has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and adults who are affected by Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Learning how to work with, and not against, her own ADHD brain has awakened a passion for helping neurodivergent individuals find ways to work smarter, not harder, as well as treating other mental health concerns that can often co-occur. Other clinical interests of Jennifer's include: anxiety, depression, autism, OCD, and behavior concerns as well as improving communication and fostering understanding between parents and children, and couples.

Jennifer enjoys incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy principles and interventions into treatment for a wide variety of clinical concerns. She believes that education and self-reflection often play an important role in healing as well as managing and treating many mental health conditions. Recognizing the importance of appreciating and honoring all aspects of an individual, Jennifer believes there is great value to incorporating faith and prayer in treatment when it is desired by a client.

Jennifer and her husband, Colin, have a son whose infectious joy and curiosity make every day an adventure. Other pastimes for Jennifer include playing her viola with local orchestras/small ensembles and playing video games.
