Jameela is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Ohio. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Malone University. She is currently supervised by Emily Indorf, MA, LPCC-S. Jameela has experience working with children as young as five, adults 62 plus, and everyone in between. She works with those experiencing PTSD, adjustment issues, problems with identity expression, communication issues, depression, and anxiety. Jameela is interested in couples therapy, culturally diverse groups, and those who are having difficulty just figuring out where they fit in this world and what their purpose is. Jameela approaches therapy with confidence in the therapeutic process and the importance of incorporating one’s religious/spiritual beliefs into their care as desired.
Jameela is an avid learner and adventurous person who believes all things are to be done in love. Jameela loves to laugh, and she strongly advocates for others to get to their “expected end” according to Jeremiah 29:11. Jameela is a wife to a wonderful husband, godmother, and bonus mother to many children whose parents have entrusted her with their children.
