While Luke’s prior background as a classroom teacher has given him familiarity and comfort working with children and adolescents, he enjoys working with adults and couples as well. He works with a variety of presenting concerns including but not limited to ADHD, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, emotional regulation and processing, grief, life transitions, self-esteem issues, spirituality concerns, premarital counseling, couples counseling, stress management, career counseling, trauma, and men’s issues. Luke enjoys taking a Narrative approach to counseling and works with clients to understand their story to help them uncover new meaning, freedom, and possibilities when encountering life’s difficulties. He believes in a holistic approach to counseling by looking at how the body/soul/mind are interconnected and he integrates faith and prayer into treatment, if desired. When not working with clients, Luke enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his wife and family, cheering on all Cleveland sports teams, learning new board games, and discovering great local coffee spots. |
