Rick McQuistion has worked in the mental health field since 1988 in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He holds a doctorate in Counseling from Kent State University, a Master’s Degree from Xavier University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Great Lakes Christian College. Rick has also studied at The Cincinnati Bible Seminary, The Ohio State University, and Walsh University. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor- Supervisor, certified Sexual Recover Therapist, and ordained minister. His professional expertise includes: marital therapy, men’s issues, sex addiction, mood disorders, grief, pastoral counseling, career assessment, Asperger Syndrome, and ADHD. In addition to the individual and couples counseling that he does, Rick conducts a weekly group for men struggling with sexual addiction. He has taught counseling related courses for both Malone University and Kent State University for over fifteen years, has been professionally published and has spoken around the country. Rick loves his wife and son, is active in his church, and enjoys watching his son play collegiate soccer, hiking in the woods, music, whitewater rafting, football, travel, and guest preaching for local churches.
